We love working on our websites and watching them grow!  After you’ve read the new posts at 365Mexico, check out one of our other sites about vintage movie memorabilia or food!  And tell your friends!

Did you know we run other websites along with 365Mexico?

If you are interested in movies, check out www.mexicanmemorabilia.com, where we offer all kinds of movie memorabilia from Latin America—posters, magazines, post cards, movie-related books, and other treasures from Hollywood and Mexican cinema.  Mexican Memorabilia has been up for 8 years, and we are just now doing a major overhaul—there are about 3000 items pictured.  It looks great!  And being us, you just know the site has to be different somehow.  All the items are for sale, but you tell us the price.  We’ve found that collectors are the market experts, and are very fair, so what they offer for an item is almost always a good price for us.  That way, everyone is happy.  And if I need more, I’ll say so.  It’s a nice system, because it gets collectors writing back and forth—something that I really miss in eBay, now that everyone just clicks “send money” on PayPal and few people write about their collections anymore.
www.mexicanmemorabilia.com/shirleytemplecovers/ is a site featuring photos of Shirley Temple items from Latin America.  They are generally not for sale, but it is an interesting place for Shirley collectors.

www.mexicanmemorabilia.com/mexicanstarmagazinecovers/ is similar, only with photos of Mexican film stars on magazine covers, especially Cinema Reporter (which is Mexican despite its very Hollywood name!).

And www.mexicanmemorabilia.com/baklava/  is a site with a recipe and directions for making baklava!  OK, not travel or movie-related, but Mom’s neighbor Leah makes fabulous baklava, and she let me take photos of the process one Christmas.  It’s easy and fabulicious!

I’m planning on starting a new collectibles site, where people write about their area of expertise in the art of collecting.  I am lucky to know many top collectors who are willing to share their expertise about collecting Judy Garland, Kate Smith, Brigitte Bardot, Ray Harryhausen, and the like.  If you are a collector you will love reading the adventures and advice from these fascinating folks.  And if you aren’t a collector, you’ll think we’re nuts (but what fun you are missing!).

Come visit us at our other sites—and tell your friends!
